There's No Wrong Way

I received some study recommendations during my CISCO Academy boot camp held in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. One of those included nightly study groups with the class. That never worked for me but it may work for you. It boils down to the instruction, your focus and repetition of the course content.

Collaboration

Once you land that job in cyber security remember this; Sometimes it's easy to become complacent within your work environment. I will encourage and engage each one that reads my blogs to reach out and collaborate with other colleagues outside the typical daily grind. It's how we learn new ideas and ways to improve your contribution to the team.

It helps to have the desire

In my opinion; if you want to jump into a cyber security role in having the responsibility of protecting systems - you must have the experience & desire in maintaining them first.
